The U.S. Department of Energy defines large-diameter ceiling fans (LDCF) as having a blade span greater than 7 feet (2.1 meters). It's important to note that not all LDCF are high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans.
While the largest blade diameter offered on our Lincoln Street fan is 7 feet, that model is considered to be a LDCF (Large diameter ceiling fan), and not an HVLS (High Volume Low Speed) fan due to the volume of air produced relative to the blade RPM.
