The Department of Energy updated motor requirements around 2017 which forced all motor manufacturers to increase the size of the motors we use on our fans. While the motor is taller than your original motor, it should still fit in your frame. Rather than simply removing the motor, you will need to remove the gearbox from the fan frame, bolt the motor to the gearbox, and then place the entire motor/gearbox assembly into the frame. It will be a tighter fit than the old motor, and you may need to reverse the bolts holding the top of the frame to the mount, but it will fit.
