What Is HVLS?

HVLS stands for "High Volume, Low Speed" and is a classification of ceiling fan. HVLS fans differ from traditional fans in that they move a large amount of air at a low speed, whereas most fans rely on high speeds for their air movement. Because HVLS fans do not need to work as hard as traditional fans to provide airflow, they are much more efficient and cost-effective than several smaller fans.
