A PF fault (fault 27 on the touchscreen) is an input phase loss fault. The VFD detected that an input phase is missing. Below are the possible causes and solutions.
1. The supply voltage is too low for the drive rating, for example if 120V is being provided to a 240V drive.
2. There was a momentary power loss. If the proper power has been restored, this fault code can be reset to resume fan operation.
3. There is a loose or missing wire on the input of the VFD. Verify that all wires are properly connected to the disconnect switch, the fuse block, and the proper input terminals on the VFD. Ensure the disconnect switch is assembled properly.
4. There is a dead fuse, bad wire, or bad component such as the fuse block or disconnect switch. Verify power on all 3 legs directly on the input terminals of the VFD. If it does not match the power coming from the building, check all wires and components in line to determine where the power is being lost. Refer to further troubleshooting steps here.
