Why Is My Fan Spinning Backwards When The Remote Is Set To Forward?

If a fan is running in the reverse (clockwise) rotation when the forward(counter-clockwise) button is selected (and vice versa), your motor is wired out of phase. Two leads need to be swapped on the OUTPUT side of the VFD in order to reverse rotation; you cannot swap two leads of the incoming power.
